Contents
Per 5 mL Bromhexine HCl 10 mg, glyceryl guaiacolate 50 mg
Indications/Uses
Relief of productive cough symptoms & all forms of upper & lower resp tract conditions associated w/ retention of viscid mucous secretion.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >10 yr 1 tsp (5 mL) tds. Childn 5-10 yr ½ tsp (2.5 mL) tds.
Special Precautions
Patient w/ peptic ulcer. May cause GI discomfort & increase transaminase levels. Pregnancy (especially 1st trimester).
Adverse Reactions
GI discomfort eg, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, peptic ulcer, headache. May cause excessive sweat, headache & vertigo.
